Tyga won’t be charged with a felony in domestic violence case

Earlier in the year rapper, Tyga was arrested for felony domestic violence last month after turning himself in to authorities.

His ex-girlfriend, Camaryn Swanson, claimed he got physical with her and left her with a black eye and bruises.

According to TMZ police passed the rapper’s domestic violence case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office so they could decide if they wanted to file charges against Tyga.

However, the case has now been kicked over to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office which means he won’t be charged with a felony because only the D.A.’s Office can charge folks with a felony.

It was said Camaryn’s injuries and the evidence did not rise to a felony charge which is why the case was reportedly kicked to the City Attorney.

Tyga is not completely off the hook just yet.

The rapper could still be hit with a misdemeanor by the City Attorney but doesn’t have to worry about a felony anymore.
