Police officers in the Eastern Division recovered a silver Nissan Tiida motor vehicle, which was taken from its owner at gunpoint by two armed assailants early this morning.
Reports indicate two victims were seated in the vehicle around 12:45 am, on Monday 23rd January, 2023, in the Sangre Grande district when they were approached by two armed assailants who left with the car.
The vehicle was subsequently found crashed in the Valencia district.
Two suspects have since been identified and investigations are ongoing.
