Two Samurai swords, along with guns, ammunition and marijuana were seized during an exercise this morning in St Joseph and St Augustine.
Members of the Northern Division Task Force West, St Joseph CID and the police Canine Unit began an exercise at around 12 am on Thursday which lasted until 6 am.
Police searched several houses in Wharf Trace and Farm Road in St Joseph and Mohammed Trace and Riverside Road in St Augustine, where they found the drugs, three guns and two samurai swords.
Ten men were held during the exercise.
Police said two of those detained were wanted for enquiries into shootings while another two were wanted for house breaking and larceny.
The ages of those held range from 16 to 55.
