Two additional persons have tested positive for COVID

The Ministry of Health says two additional persons have test positive for COVID-19.

In its latest clinical update the Ministry says one person has been discharged from a public health facility.

The Ministry says there have been seven recovered community cases. Recovered community cases the Ministry says refer to persons who were previously COVID-19 positive and in self-isolation at home and subsequently met the discharge criteria and were released from self- isolation.

The Ministry says there are ten patients in hospital with the virus.

It says there are one hundred and eighteen persons in home self- isolation, three hundred and two at state quarantine facilities and two at step down facilities.

The Ministry says one hundred and thirty-nine persons have died from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

So far seven thousand, four hundred and eleven persons have recovered from the virus.
