Twelve Police Officers Have Died From Covid-19 In Trinidad And Tobago.

Twelve police officers have died from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

Over forty three hundred officers have been quarantined for the virus locally.

At present more than one hundred officers are affected by the virus.

Confirmation of this comes from Acting Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith.

The Acting Commissioner of Police, made the disclosure while delivering his Independence Day message to the nation.

Acting Commissioner Griffith said in spite of the challenges facing the TTPS it remains determine to do what is required in the fight against crime.
