A Tunapuna man was shot and killed while strolling with a friend on Friday.
Twenty-three year old Jerimiah Forde was reportedly walking with a friend on Maingot Road, Tunapuna, when they were approached by two men with guns.
Forde and his friend ran in opposite directions, however, one of the gunmen followed Forde and shot him several times.
The suspect then escaped in a white vehicle.
Tunapuna police went to the area and found Forde’s body. A district medical officer visited the scene and declared Forde dead.
Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries.
