TTUTA upset about breach in the industrial relations act

President of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association, Antonia De Freitas, says TTUTA is concerned about what it describes as a breach of the industrial relations act without the appropriate consultations.

Speaking at a news briefing at TTUTA’s Curepe Head Office on Tuesday, the senior teacher’s union official made reference to a particular development that cannot be allowed to go unnoticed.

TTUTA’s Second Vice President, Kyrla Robertson-Thomas, highlighted other matters affecting teachers which must be urgently addressed.

Meanwhile, TTUTA’s Industrial Relations Officer, Justin De Freitas, noted issues of concern that have been taking place College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago.
