The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association is lamenting the Ministry’s failure to consult with them before deciding upon the date of next year’s SEA exam.
TTUTA President Antonia DeFreitas noted that a more collaborative approach could have proven beneficial, particularly for the children.
News Power Now asked whether she believed that the exam should have been pushed back a few weeks to give students more time to prepare given the poor results in this year’s edition of the exam.
However, Mrs DeFreitas said she did not believe that this was the only factor to be considered.
