President of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association, Antonia De Freitas, says the union is developing a work from home policy in light the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The TTUTA President explains that it plans to raise this issue when it meets again with the Education Minister.
She made the revealtion in an interview with News Power Now.
On Wednesday, TTUTA executives met in a meeting with the Education Minister.
De Freitas added that the union is emphasizing that health and safety and proper sanistation of schools be done before students return to classes.
She also noted that TTUTA is also seeking to have matters now before the Chief Personnel Officer completed.
