T&T’s Premier Football League has been officially launched

The Trinidad and Tobago’s Premier Football League has been officially launched!
The event was hosted at The Hyatt this evening – the TTPFL’s CEO Colin Wharfe gave a breakdown of the league, which will commence on March 10th.
The league will be broken up into two tiers, – one and two – with both tiers hosting twelve teams each. The twelve teams are as follows:
Defence Force, Police Fc, La Horquetta Rangers, W. Connection, Caledonia AIA, Point Fortin Civic, Club Sando, Cunupia Fc, Prisons Fc, Central Fc, AC Port of Spain and San Juan Jabloteh.
In the inaugural season, these teams would play in a two-round league after which would be followed up with a Cup.
The top two finishers in the league will represent Trinidad and Tobago in the upcoming CFU Championships.
