Trinidad and Tobago sprinter, Jereem Richards, placed fourth in the men’s four hundred meters finals in the Olympic Games in Paris Wednesday afternoon.
Richards set a new national record of 43.78 seconds.
Kirani James of Grenada came in fifth in a time of 43.87.
The race was won by Quincy Hall of the United States in 43.40 seconds.
Matthew Hudson-Smith of Great Britain had to settle for second position in 43.44.
Muzala Samukonga of Zambia was third in 43.74.
