TTPS extends condolences to colleague who passed away

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service extends condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Sergeant Dane James who passed away on Sunday 31st July 2022.

Sergeant James enlisted in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service on 1st May 1992, where he served for thirty years.

He will be remembered by his colleagues at the St. Margaret’s Police Station, E999 Rapid Response Operations, and the Central Division- Freeport Criminal Investigation Department as an officer who worked tirelessly.

Colleagues said that he always had an “open door approach”, as he made himself accessible, and was always available at any time to support and guide the officers.

James will be fondly remembered as everybody’s Sergeant, everybody’s father, and everybody’s big brother.

Sergeant James was laid to rest on Saturday 6th August 2022 at the Our Lady of Montserrat Roman Catholic Church, Tortuga.
