The TTPS has been actively treating with the ongoing protest action occurring along the North Coast Road today.
The assurance comes from head of the North Eastern Division, Snr Supt Winston Maharaj.
Speaking with News Power Now this afternoon, Snr Supt Maharaj indicated that burning debris at two sites in the Maraval area had already been contained while police and fire officials were at a third location in the vicinity of Moraldo Trace.
Asked whether police have detained perpetrators of these incidents, Snr Supt Maharaj liked the tactics to a game of cat and mouse, adding that no one has outwardly taken accountability for the actions.
