T&TEC working to restore power after major disruptions across T&T

There have been major electricity disruptions across Trinidad and Tobago, due to high winds associated with the tropical wave presently affecting Trinidad and Tobago. T&TEC’s Corporate Communications manager Annabelle Brasnell  told Power digital that that the power outages affected thousands of customers and T&TEC’s crews have been out since the early hours of this morning trying to restore power to affected areas.  She said most of the power has been restored to customers, however the crews restoration efforts have been severely hampered by blockages due to downed trees and landslides in many areas.

Ms Brasnell advised that their call centers have been inundated with calls, so T&TEC has posted a list of areas they are working on, and customers can check that T&TEC Facebook list and is they do not see their area, they are advised to message T&TEC via Facebook with their reports.
