T&TEC Crews Work To Restore Supply To Affected Areas Following Adverse Weather Event.

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission says supply has been restored in several areas after the adverse weather experienced across the country Thursday night.

In a media release today, T&TEC said the areas include Manzanilla, some parts of Sangre Grande and environs, Santa Cruz, Malabar, Crown Point, Hope, parts of Mason Hall, Caparo Valley, Haleland Park and Barataria.

T&TEC said its crews are working systematically to respond to all reports as quickly as possible.

It said due to the number of reports, it is unable to provide estimated restoration times for each area, but expect to complete all before the end of the day.

T&TEC said large-area outages currently exist on the North Coast, from Maracas to Blanchisseuse, Rampanalgas and Mathura.
