General Manager at the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, Kelvin Ramsook, says there are no plans to send home workers at the utility.
The TATEC General Manager gave the assurance in response to a question on the subject from Joint Select Committee member, Saddam Hosein this afternoon.
The senior TATEC official was speaking at the seventh meeting of the JSC on Land Physical Infrastructure.
The JSC is inquiring into the management of the utility and related recommendations with TATEC.
TATEC General Manager responded to another question as to why the utility has been operating at a loss for the past eight years.
The senior TATEC official also indicated what action is being taken to address the development.
