T&T Under-19 Women Cricketers Win By Six Wickets Against Windward Islands In Rising Stars Championship

Trinidad and Tobago Under-19 women cricket team won their latest match in the CWI Rising Stars U19 Championships against Windward Islands by six wickets at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium, Tarouba, Tuesday.

The defending champions were set 61 runs to win and reached the total losing four wickets in the process from 11.5 overs.

Captain Samara Ramnath led the way with 28 runs.

Earlier, three wickets each for Kenika Cassar and Samara Ramnath helped restrict the visitors to 60 for 9 from 20 overs in which Natalia Phillip led the way with 19 runs.

The national female cricketers won matches already against the Leeward Islands and Jamaica.

However, they lost to Guyana by four runs in their opening fixture.
