Trinidad and Tobago U-20 men have advanced to Concacaf’s U-20 Championship round of 16 after defeating Suriname 3-0 at the Olímpico Metropolitano in Honduras.
T&T needed a win or a draw to finish either second of third in Group F as the top three teams in each group advance to he Round of 16.
Second half substitute and talisman Nathaniel James came on and changed the game completely, scoring a double and assisting Molik Jesse Khan with the other with another Man of the Match performance.
Up next T&T faces Costa Rica on Saturday in the round of 16 but that can change depending on the result of Group F’s final game between Haiti and Mexico later tonight.
