10 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, including one in Tobago.
The Ministry of Health, in its latest update, noted that these bring the total number of active cases in the country to 325 patients.
According to the Ministry, these new cases reflect samples taken between Sunday 3rd and Tuesday 5th January 2021.
The Health Ministry also notes in its update:
● 23 persons are still hospitalised for COVID-19; down from 25 patients on Tuesday.
● 229 persons are in home self-isolation; up from 228 patients on Tuesday. 17 of these patients are in the care of the prison system.
● 232 persons are in State quarantine facilities; up from 220 patients on Tuesday.
● 63 patients are still recovering in step/down facilities; no change from Tuesday.
