T&T Must Live Up To Meca Of Pan Status, Says Master Pannist Ray Holman

Suitable teachers are needed to help improve the quality of pan players and arrangers in Trinidad and Tobago.

It’s a point put forward by veteran musician, composer, pannist and performer, Ray Holman, while speaking on the Afternoon Power Drive on Power 102 Digital on Wednesday.

Mr Holman said this country has been described as the Meca of Pan and all must be done to ensure this title is lived up to.

The holder of a Hummingbird Medal (Silver) Award, said focus must also be placed on the properly learning the fundamentals of the craft to ensure Trinidad and Tobago continue to produce high standards on a sustained basis.
