T&T Considering Methanol Bunkering, Reveals PM Rowley

Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley says Trinidad and Tobago is exploring a bunkering industry.

Dr Rowley explains this decision is based on the use of methanol as a marine fuel.

The Prime Minister made the revelation while speaking at the naming ceremony of Proman Stena Bulk Limited’s first state-of-the-art methanol fuelled vessel, “Stena Pro Patria” this week.

Dr. Rowley said it will be a major development with respect to the response in fighting climate change.
