Families are being evacuated from Bamboo Settlement No.3 at this time.
According to the Office of Diaster and Preparedness Management of T&T (ODPM) The emergency shelter at Bamboo Government Primary School has been activated and the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard is on the ground assisting in the evacuation.
Persons are asked to contact the Disaster Management Unit of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation via the hotline 800 – TPRC (8772) for assistance.
