TT Chamber of Commerce CEO Gabriel Faria has elaborated on the COVID measures put forward to the Government which he said were ignored.
Speaking on Power 102 FM’s Power Breakfast show on Wednesday morning, Faria revealed that suggestions included the establishment of a COVID compliance unit to enforce the regulations at bars and restaurants.
Faria explained that the reopening process suggested by the Chamber of Commerce was clear with strong protocols aimed at keeping the public safe.
Faria argued that if beaches can be opened then businesses should be allowed to reopen as beaches are harder to manage.
