TSTT questions TATT over new Blue Mobile Network; says no concession were granted

TSTT is calling on the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago to issue a public notice forewarning the public of the illegal activities associated with the new Star – Blue Mobile Network.

It said according to the Telecommunications Act: no person shall operate a public telecommunications network of provide a public telecommunications service or broadcasting service without a concession granted by the minister.

TSTT said it can only surmise that the party is either seeking to operate in direct contravention of the Telecommunications Act or is seeking to hoodwink the population in an attempt to extract money from an unsuspecting public
