Truck driver lost his life in an accident in Oropouche

A truck driver lost his life an accident along the Solomon Hochoy Highway.

According to reports, the accident took place extension in South Oropouche on Monday December 19th.

Clem Ramlal, 49, died at the scene.

Police reports indicate that Ramlal was driving a Nissan dump truck north along the highway.

Upon reaching Mon Desir, just after 9:15 am the truck encountered mechanical difficulties.

Ramlal lost control of the truck, which flipped and pinned him under the cab area.

With the assistance of an excavator, the truck was lifted.

Ramdial was removed but passed away.
