Christin J. Coeppicus, an aerospace engineering student from Princes Town has done Trinidad and Tobago proud and has won the Miss Global International Pageant 2023, beating Mexico and Venezuela at the competition in Jamaica on Saturday night.
The final night of the Miss Global Pageant was staged at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Jamaica.
Twenty-five year old Coeppicus competed against 25 other delegates from various countries. Her personality and intelligence gave her the edge over first and second runners up, Mexico and Venezuela respectively.
Other participating countries included Guyana, Cuba, USA, Cayman Islands, India and Hong Kong.
Christin also placed in the top 3 in the talent contest playing the violin.
This crown for Trinidad and Tobago is the second international win for T&T via franchise holder Neha Karina who recently saw success at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant in India a few months ago with Anissa Ali.
