Trinbagonian Actor And Writer, Errol Sitahal, Honored With A Lifetime Achievement Award in Florida

Pioneering Trinbagonian actor, writer and director, Errol Sitahal, is honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the recently concluded Third Horizon Film Festival in Miami, Florida.

The award was given to Sitahal “In recognition of his pioneering and career-long achievements in and contributions to film and television in the Caribbean and beyond”.

It was presented recently on the occasion of a screening of Ian Harnarine’s film Doubles, which was the Closing Night Film of the festival.

Sitahal’s performance continues to wow audiences and critics alike after winning “Best Supporting Actor” for his performance in Doubles at the Canadian Film Fest in Toronto in March.

A graduate of Naparima College, Sitahal has a storied career that spans over five decades of work in stage, film and television.
