Tricia Coosal has been appointed as a director of Angostura Holdings Ltd and its subsidiaries – Angostura Ltd and Trinidad Distillers Ltd.
Her appointment took effect on Monday, according to a material change notice posted this morning by the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.
Coosal previously served two consecutive terms as president of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association.
She is currently the executive director of finance and administration at the Coosal’s Group of Companies, founded by her father, Sieunarine Coosal.
This is the second board appointment for Angostura this year, following the addition of Gerard Cooper, the acting chief financial officer of the Telecommunications Services of T&T, on May 16.
Meanwhile, Ingrid Lashley ceased to be a director after her term of office ended at the close of Angostura’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders on July 17. She did not offer herself for re-election.
The Angostura board, chaired by Senior Counsel Terrence Bharath, now comprises six members: Dr Sterling Frost, ORTT, Franka Costelloe, Dr Maryam Richards, Gerard Cooper, and Tricia Coosal.
