Triangle of Hope Programme Launched

There is now a Triangle of Hope Programme.

It seeks to address the circumstances of families and children of incarcerated offenders who are at high risk of engaging in anti-social behaviour.

The programme was officially launched today.

It was hosted by Vision on Mission, at their Head Office, in St Augustine.

The Triangle of Hope Programme will bring together the resources of the national community in an effort to identify ways of breaking intergenerational cycles of crime and criminality in families and communities.

Presenting the programme to the audience, Vision on Mission’s Chief Executive Officer, Giselle Chance, expressed her sincere appreciation for the support given to the organization by various stakeholders, including the Ministry.

Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, said she was extremely inspired by the initiative proposed by the Vision on Mission organisation.

Minister Cox said the Ministry also seeks to empower clients through rehabilitative and skill enhancement initiatives, which promote human prosperity in the wider context of sustainable development.
