Trees fall in the vicinity of Piccadilly Street pull power lines down

Several trees fell within the vicinity of Piccadilly Street on Wednesday afternoon, pulling down a few power lines in Port-of-Spain.

Pictures from the incident show officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service as well as Port-of-Spain South MP, Keith Scotland and residents attending to the trees, which had fallen due to a heavy downpour of rain and strong winds.

The MP, along with the office staff and the young men in the area, were able to remove debris from the area.
