The Ministry of Works and Transport said that there will be temporary traffic disruption along the Toco Main Road, from the intersection of Valencia and Toco Main Roads to the Roundabout on the Eastern Main Road, Sangre Grande.
The Ministry said this has become necessary to facilitate culvert reconstruction works.
The disruption will take place from Monday 26th October to Monday 2nd November between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Ministry said that single lane traffic is in effect.
As a result, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe directional signs and barriers, and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
Drivers must also comply with instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
Persons should also be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
The Ministry also advised persons to drive with caution on all milled or uneven surfaces.
The Ministry apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for its cooperation.
