Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram, is assuring the population there is an efficient tracking system for persons who will be given the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr Parasram provided details on how the process will unfold while responding to a question from minister in the Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, Hassel Bacchus, at Wednesday’s sitting of the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee.
The Committee inquired into the preparedness and response of public authorities to the COVID-19 pandemic in Trinidad and Tobago with regard to procurement and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Asif Ali, shared information on the security and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.
