Top Tobago SEA student says she had to stay focussed

Tobago’s top Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) student for 2020, Susannah Thompson, says she had to stay focussed in spite of times when she felt to give up.

Thompson, who attended St Nicholas Private School, passed for her first choice, Bishop Anstey High School.

Lambeau Anglican’s Keyanna Thomas placed second and Jada Gibbs, of St Andrew’s Anglican School, came in third.

Speaking with reporters on Thursday, Thompson said she kept her sight on the reward at the end.

Her mother Susan Baptiste Thompson said her daughter displayed discipline.

Education Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Kelvin Charles, encouraged the students to press on as they are the leaders of the future.
