Top Cop warns media on its reporting of Andrea Bharatt’s case

The Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith is warning the media to be more responsible in its reporting when it comes to information on the case.

Speaking this morning on the Power Breakfast Show Commissioner Griffith said while he understood that the media had a job to do, reporting sensitive information on the kidnapping could create a dangerous situation.

He said while he acknowledges the concept of the public’s right to know, this cannot be done at the expense of the victim’s safety.
