Tobago records seven new COVID-19 cases – One case recorded at Crown Point Fire Station

The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development in the Tobago House of Assembly says seven new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the sister isle, bringing the total number of active cases on the island to twenty-eight.

In its latest clinical update for Tobago, the Division says the number of samples submitted to the Tobago Regional Health Authority and other local sites to test for COVID-19 is two thousand and fourteen.

The Division says 125 samples tested positive for COVID-19.

There are 28 active COVID-19 cases.

Two persons have since died from the virus in Tobago.

Meanwhile President of the Fire Services Association, Leo Ramkissoon during a Facebook live said they are trying to get the situation under control and officers who were working with the positive COVID-19 case are in quarantine.

Number of new cases = 7
 Number of discharges = 0
 Number of samples submitted to the Tobago Regional Health Authority
(TRHA) and other local sites to test for COVID-19 = 2014
 Number of samples that tested positive for COVID-19 = 135
 Number of active COVID-19 cases = 28
 Number of deaths = 2
