Tobago Jazz Model To Be Reviewed, Says Chief Secretary

There will be a review of the Tobago Jazz Festival following this year’s holding of the event.

The festival gets going on Friday with the Gospel version of the production.

Speaking at the post executive council news briefing this week, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine, said there must be an assessment of the festival to determine its viability.

Mr Augustine said the assembly is open to partnering with the private sector on this matter.

So far he said three million dollars have been awarded to the Tobago Festivals Commission and at last week ticket sales stood at sixty percent.
