Tobago Business Chamber Welcomes Waston Duke’s Decision To Serve Tobago

The Tobago Business Chamber says it welcomes Tobago House of Assembly Deputy Chief Secretary, Watson Duke making a choice to serve Tobago as he seeks to move on from his role as President of Public Services Association (PSA).

In a statement today, Chairman Martin George said once this transition actually takes place, the Chamber looks forward to working along with Mr Duke and THA Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine in an attempt to rebuild the Business & Private sector in Tobago.

In a letter dated December 13, Duke offered his resignation as PSA President, effective December 31, 2021.

Duke said as he is now THA Deputy Chief Secretary, he will be placing emphasis on “a political solution” to efforts he previously championed through the PSA.
