Tobago Blue Food Festival On This Weekend.

The Tobago Festivals Commission says the month of October continues to be an eventful one for Tobago with activities surrounding the annual Blue Food Festival.

Transformed into a hybrid event, with both in-person and digital activities, the Festival remains a staple on the Tobago Festivals Calendar.

Newly included, in the 24th year of the Festival is curbside pick-up which allows patrons to order and collect their authentic Blue Food dishes.

Taking place on Sunday, October 24 in the villages of L’Anse Fourmi, Parlatuvier and Bloody Bay, patrons will be given the opportunity to place their orders in advance, then go collect their meals.

Menus have been posted to the Commission’s social media pages so that customers can review and make their choices. Customers must bear in mind however that all COVID-19 protocol will be in effect, and no eating or congregation will be allowed on site.

Additionally taking place on October 24 is the airing of ’Blue Food Stories’, a documentary-type feature that takes viewers on a culturally rich journey of the roots of the Festival.
