Three members of an El Socorro family including two women ,executed

Three members of an El Socorro family including two women have been executed on the Republic day holiday. Police described the killing of the three members of the family who were shot in the back of their heads as executions of the most gruesome manners.

The dead family members, have been identified as Radeshka Timal David, 48, her son Zachary David, 22, and the grandmother Kumarie Kowlessar-Timal.

Neighbors in Oudan trace reported hearing the gunshots at around 4:55 pm and police were called to the area. A 25 year old relative who was visiting from Canada escaped because he was in the lower floor of the family home.

When police arrived on the scene they found the victims  on a couch in the living room of the top floor of their home. The three had gunshot wounds to the back of their heads. Police said the killings were very specific and intentional but no motive has been determined.

Neighbors said the family lived in the area for about three decades and we’re well loved in the area. The area has been riddled with crime for a long time they said and gunshots ringing out was not an unusual occurrence.

This is the second execution style killing in the country in less than a month following the execution of three men in East Trinidad three weeks ago.
