Three persons were arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized by officers of the Tobago Division, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Charlotteville district yesterday morning.
Officers conducted the exercise between 4 am and 5.20am, on Thursday 29th October, 2020, during which they proceeded to a house in Belle Aire, where they conducted a search, which resulted in 700 grammes of marijuana being discovered.
Three suspects, ages 19 to 39, who were in the house at the time of the exercise, were arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing.
The exercise was coordinated by ASP Rampersad and spearheaded by W/Sgt. Clarke-Sterling and included officers of the Roxborough Police Station and the Canine Unit.
