Three COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours

There have been three more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours; this according to the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Roshan Parasram.

Dr. Parasram made the announcement during today’s Health Briefing.

Dr Roshan Parasram also announced that there have been 46 new cases of the virus.

The Health Minister, Terrence also announced that all recreational team sports are now prohibited from tomorrow.

However, training of athletes involved in National and International sports will continue.

Additionally 40,950 NCD patients in the public health sector in T&T are being targeted for COVID-19 vaccines. 6,621 frontline workers are being targeted for COVID-19 vaccines.
