Eight (8) more persons have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health says the persons were two elderly males, three elderly females, one middle age male, one middle age female and one young adult male with co-morbidities.
In its latest clinical update, the Ministry said this brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths to one thousand, two hundred and fifty-two (1 252).
It also reprted an additional two hundred and twelve (212) persons have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Ministry said twenty-six (26) persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
The Ministry said there have been three hundred and two (302) recovered community cases.
