The iconic Granny Luces dies at 93

Iconic runner Lynette ‘Granny’ Luces, has passed away..
According to Trinidad Sports reality, Luces passed away this morning, at the age of 93.

Luces is popularly known for participating and completing long distance races throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the world.

She made her marathon debut in 1983 at age 55, and since then, she has been a favourite among spectators and her fellow competitors.

Luces has been recognised for her achievements in running and was awarded the Hummingbird Medal Gold in 2013.
