The House Speaker Says Parliament Will Conduct Ongoing Evaluation Of Risk As More Data On Vaccinated Members Becomes Available

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Bridget Anisette George,  assures as more data becomes  available on the numbers of vaccinated members there will be an ongoing evaluation of risk with a view to adopting a path to normalcy.

The House Speaker made the disclosure at the second session of the 12^th Republican parliament which had simultaneous sitting of both houses Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Anisette George said by the new measures adopted no member vaccinated or unvaccinated is being barred from the parliamentary complex or the chamber.

However, Mrs. Anisette George said measures are being put in place to protect all members and staff in the execution of constitutional obligations and she is anticipating the full participation of all members with the safety measures as obtain in the past year.
