The Gov’t advises citizens about getting involved in the Russia-Ukraine war

The Government on Monday advised citizens about getting involved in the Russia-Ukraine war.
This followed a newspaper article which reported that business development consultant and United National Congress (UNC) activist Brian Stone had expressed a desire to be among thousands of foreign volunteers wanting to engage in combat in Ukraine.
Caricom and Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr Amery Browne, told a news conference that he found the news disturbing.
He urged citizens not to follow what he described as bad examples.
Browne said the Ministry was looking into the claims made by Mr Stone.
