The CEPEP Company awarded six bursaries to the children of CEPEP contractors’ workers this morning.
The distribution ceremony took place at the Company’s head office in Ste Madeleine, much to the delight of the students and their parents.
This year’s recipients are: Portia Bajnath (South-East Region), Zara Vallie (South-West Region), Dillian DeGannes (North-East Region),Bradana Holder (North Central Region), Kevon Patrick (North-West Region) and Shaquille Douglas (Central Region).
This Bursary is also accessible to these students for the five years of secondary school education providing that they maintain their academic standing every year.
Chairman of the CEPEP Board of Directors, Marilyn Michael, warmly welcomed the recipients and their parents to the distribution exercise.
In her remarks, she explained that this programme is a developmental initiative for children who will go on to become highly productive members of society.
