THA to conduct island-wide clean-up campaign today

The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development in the Tobago House of Assembly and the Community-based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme and the Unemployment Relief Programme is conducting a Christmas Clean-up Campaign from today to December 21st during the hours of 6.00 am to 6.00 pm.

The Division, via assistant secretary Nadine Stewart-Phillips, said the exercise will entail the collection of derelict materials including old stoves, refrigerators, microwaves and other household appliances such as washing machines, old beds, mattresses, etc.

However, it should be noted construction and agricultural waste would not be collected as part of this campaign.

The dates for collection in the various villages are as follows:
Wednesday 16th December:
▪️Crown Point
▪️Canaan/Bon Accord
▪️Buccoo/Mt. Pleasant/Carnbee
▪️Bethel/Mt. Irvine

Thursday 17th December:
▪️Scarborough/Calder Hall
▪️Lambeau/Signal Hill
▪️Bacolet/Mt. St. George

Friday 18th December:
▪️Plymouth/Golden Lane
▪️Black Rock/Whim/Spring Garden
▪️Providence/Mason Hall/Moriah

Monday 21st December:
▪️Castara
▪️L’Anse Fourmi/Speyside
▪️Roxborough/Delaford
▪️Belle Garden/Goodwood

December 22nd and 23rd are reserve days
