Cultural tourism is another area the Tobago House of Assembly plans to capitalise upon to widening the impact of the festival.
Tourism Secretary, Tashia Grace Burris, says the aim is to ensure the festival remains relevant in communities, to the people and promotes various aspects of the unique culture, history and heritage of Tobago.
Burris said the festival continues to be a medium where communities can send in their proposals to the THA to host activities.
She said the goal is too eventually to make it a year round event.
