THA Involves Fisherfolk To Get Assessment Of Damge Done By Recent Oil Spill

The Tobago House of Assembly continues to assess the damage to fisher folk from the recent oil spill.

Officials from the THA are doing the necessary ground work to ensure the process is transparent.

THA Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine, explains the move is necessary to get factual information on the extent of the damage.

He said fisher folk have been asked to collaborate in the venture.

Augustine said the action of the THA will provide much needed relief to those affected and asked for honesty from those interviewed.

The assessment will be done at the Shaw Park Food Hub.
