THA Elections Set For December 6th, Confirms Chief Secretary Ancil Dennis.

The people of Tobago will, on December 6^th this year, return to the polls to elect a new Tobago House of Assembly executive.

Confirmation of this camefrom Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Ancil Dennis, while addressing Tuesday’s Post Executive Council news briefing.

The THA election on January 25^th 2021 ended in a six-six tie between the People’s National Movement and the Progressive Democratic Patriots.

Chief Secretary Dennis assured there was proper consultation before the election date was decided upon.

The Election and Boundaries Commission was also complimented by Chief Secretary Dennis for its ground work which helped to ensure revised electoral seats that will avoid a tie once again.
